“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” – George Bernard Shaw
For our team here at Vaddo, Inc., 2020 has been a year of change and growth. Although the COVID-19 virus took us by surprise, we decided to stay future-focused and level-headed instead of allowing our fears of the unknown to consume us. This pandemic showed us just how resilient we are, and we are now more confident than ever in our team’s ability to rebound from any hardship they’re presented with.
With a little more time on our hands than normal to strategize, we reevaluated our client portfolio and decided what was best for our company long-term was to make a change regarding the medium through which we conducted sales. Prior to Corona, the clients we represented hired us for our expertise in residential and small business customer acquisition. While face-to-face will always be the way we generate new business, we felt that transitioning into the retail space was the best move we could make amidst a global pandemic. Why? Because the foot traffic in big box retailers never stops. No matter the day, no matter the hour, no matter the conditions. Where were the only places open for weeks on end at the height of Corona? Large retailers. Although we cannot legally share the name of our new clients online, we can share a few facts about them and why we decided to make this switch.
Our clients top the charts in the telecom & cable satellite industry, having merged together in 2015. In the fourth quarter of 2019, one client had 16.03 million paying customers in the US alone and the other was the leading telecom provider in the country. Now, you’re probably thinking, “What value does a smaller, privately owned business like Vaddo, Inc. bring to the table for a massive conglomerate? What skills do we have they can’t master internally?” The answer is straightforward. We are experts in face-to-face customer acquisition, guarantee 100% ROI, and have a track record of success. As an eight-time recipient of the Best and Brightest Company to Work for award, we know how to train and lead our people to provide excellent service for our clients. At the end of the day, our direct approach always delivers.
As mentioned, with this switch, we are now conducting business in a new atmosphere. Instead of operating business to business or residential sales, we are working solely in retail environments! Why is this good for our company? Retail sales have been up by 4% annually since 2010, and with over 1 million retail businesses in the US, this market is going nowhere. The COVID-19 pandemic has us thinking years into the future, and we know that by working within the retail sector, we are setting ourselves up for long-term stability.
We have now been working with our new client for the past month and are thrilled to announce that our team is thriving! Our company has consistently ranked in the top five offices out of 120 across the nation representing our client, and the past four weeks have done nothing but confirm that our decision to switch clients/sales mediums was a smart move!
To be clear, this was a decision that our management team put a lot of thought into. Bringing in a new client is a big deal, and we wanted to be sure that we were making the right decision for our people. Thankfully, this switch has been extremely beneficial to not only us but to our client as well. The future is looking bright here at Vaddo, Inc., and we’re overcoming the pandemic one small win at a time!
